I was born and raised in a small town located in Southeastern Idaho. After completing my education in Idaho, I made the decision to return with my husband to his home state of Texas to dedicate myself to being a full-time mom. I have two wonderful children, Lyla and Maxwell. I initially discovered Abercrombie Academy in my search for the perfect preschool for them to attend. However, in doing so, I also discovered a perfect job opportunity for myself. This is my second year working at Abercrombie Academy. In addition to being the Preschool Administrative Assistant, this year I have also taken the initiative to teach music to our preschool classes.

I have always found music to be good for the soul. I think my experience singing in group choirs combined with my vast knowledge of children's songs makes me a good candidate for this position. I believe exposure to music plays an important role in every child's development. It helps children bond emotionally and intellectually with others through creative expression in song, rhythmic movement, and listening experiences.

My music class will be engaging, playful, and fun! We will sing, dance, and play lots of instruments throughout the course of this year. It is my hope that your children will develop a joy for music making and look forward to meeting with me each week. I am excited to get to know each and every one of their precious personalities!
