Community Involvement

WINTER COAT DRIVE
We are partnering with Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) to collect warm clothing for needy families in our area. Now that cold weather has hit our area, there are children and adults who are in need of warm clothing. Please consider donating your gently used or outgrown jackets, sweaters, coats, hoodies or sweatshirts. We will be collecting items for this good cause January17-27th in both the Preschool and Elementary lobbies.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

Participate in our Abercrombie Thanksgiving tradition of 20+ years! Thank you to all our generous Abercrombie Families for your kind donations toward NAM (Northwest Assistance Ministries) Food Pantry. These items will be delivered to the Joanne Watford Nutrition Center at NAM today. During our food drive, we took the opportunity to talk to our students about the virtues of giving and how we can channel our blessings towards helping the less privileged in our own area. Here are some of the Covenant and Supporting Congregations that work with NAM:

  • St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church
  • Faithbridge United Methodist Church
  • St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community
  • Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
  • Metropolitan Baptist Church
  • Congregation Jewish Community North
